A Leap of Faith - Race to Graduation

I am grateful to be able to say that this semester I am graduating Magna Cum Laude from Howard Universtiy with a bachelor's degree  in economics. It has been a rough, though beautiful experience here. I have grown so much, meet good people and have been able to take advantage of great opportunites. I am forever indebted by all the blessings God has provided me with throughout these past four years and beyond. Though, I recently ran into hardship. Depsite having a 4.0 majpor GPA and a 3.6 cumulative, I have faced immense financial difficulty covering the cost of tuition this year. The University underwent major changes and my funding for school decreased significantly. In order to combat costs, I decided to move off of campus to reduce my living expenses and the amount I would have to pay to the university. Living off of campus, working and going to school fulltime has been difficult. A couple of months ago I had an outstanding balance of nearly $7,000. I was able to increase the loan I was offered and now have a balance of $1,722 in addition to a summer class I'll have to pay for.

        As hard as it is for me to say, I am in need of help. I have always been very hesitant to ask for help because I believed I could do anything on my own, that my troubles were my responsibilites and that I should never burden anyone with my worries or wear them on my sleeves. But I have recently realized that this is not a battle that I can bare alone. I am in need of a helping hand. After coming so far, my graduation is threatened by this balance and I am frightened that I will not be able to graduate. Despite my troubles I have faith. I am confident in God's plan. I am asking for help in any way. I know that no one is required to help me, so I extremely appreciate anyone's consideration. :)
