ROBYN'S MEDICAL MISSION TO HAITI

This March I'm joining Project Medishare and The George Washington University on a medical mission to Haiti. I'm asking for your help in funding my airfare.
Why Haiti?
Haiti is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere and 3rd poorest country in the world.
What will I be doing?
I'm working with Medical Doctors, Physician Assistants, and Nurses to build and operate mobile medicine clinics in the rural region of Thomonde. The closest standing facilities are about a two hour walk for most residents. Without mobile clinics, many don't receive any medical care.
What else?
In addition to providing medical care, I hope to examine issues water cleanliness and maternal-child care. Water cleanliness is the cornerstone to public health and something I am very passionate about, and unfortunately, it is not accessible to many Haitians.
In my mind, health mothers lead to health children and communities. By researching the needs of this population in Haiti, I hope to help make recommendations on how to improve the health of Haiti.
