Custom Bikes > Bad Diagnosis

Hello! I am Jack. I was diagnosed with a degenerative heart condition when I was 15. All of a sudden, my life-long dream to pursue extreme athletics was unattainable and it felt like I'd been given a death sentence. The diagnosis was really rough, but I fatefully discovered custom motorcycle building and have been enamored by the clash of art and action sports ever since. I decided to pursue an untraditional education which focused on this newfound interest. I attended a technical school to learn about motorcycle engines, competed nationally for Harley Davidson repair, became an apprentice at a prestigious Rolls Royce/Bentley restoration garage (which I’ve been at for almost a year), and began my first custom build- a “cafe racer” conversion of a 1974 Honda CB750. The insidious nature of HCM will gradually deplete my ability to do any physical activity. Cliff jumping, mountain biking, skiing, and hiking with my family, even walking up a flight of stairs could become impossible. I am praying that motorcycles will always be with me as the one thing my condition can’t take away from me. I'd like nothing more than to build motorcycles, travel, and positively impact everyone I meet. Donations will help finance my dreams. Donations will go directly towards tools and welding materials, to finish the 1974 CB750 and 1972 CL350 builds I have going on currently. Thank you so much for reading, it means a lot to me!
