Kirsch's Trans Surgery Fund

Hi Friends!

Hi, we are friends of Kirsch and we are hoping to help our dear friend raise money to help cover the costs associated with gender-affirming top surgery. Kirsch and I have been friends for almost two decades! They have been someone I feel safe with, have tremendous amounts of fun with and who I love spending time with. Kirsch is kind, funny, undeniably stylish, authentic, eccentric, genuine, and overall just one of the best people I know.

Kirsch has been serving the youth of Milwaukee as an art teacher for almost 10 years and is soon beginning their journey of going to grad school to become a therapist. I can't imagine a better person to fill either of these roles. Children deserve a person like Kirsch to look up to and feel safe with. Especially our queer kids who so often don't have anywhere to feel safe. Kirsch has been that safe place for their children and their friends and family. Many people have chosen Kirsch as the person to come out to because they knew they would be safe with them. I can't think of anyone who deserves to be taken care of in this way and to be supported so they can access the care they need and feel good in their body.

I'm sure you know that gender-affirming care is hard to come by and can be extremely expensive! Kirsch has worked really hard to access this care, and it has been a very long process, but they finally have a surgery date for this summer! As Kirsch’s friend, I want to support them in all the ways, but I know finances are a big one as they will have to take time off of work to recover, let alone the cost of the procedure and hospital stays themselves. I'm hoping we can all join together and support our friend and family member, Kirsch, while they continue on this journey.
