Send Victoria on Service Trip--Tanzania

Friends, Family and Compassionate Folks I've not yet had the pleasure to meet--Greetings!
For those of you who know me, you know I'm rather terrible at asking for help. In fact, I've made a career of avoiding it. But I think it holds true that when you want to help others, you have to first help yourself. So, here I am acknowledging and accepting that fact. I have the awesome opportunity to travel to Tanzania for 10 days on a service trip with a group of students from the Harvard Black Law Student's Association. While there, we will be meeting with the United Nations in Arusha, local law firms in Dar es Salaam, non-profit organizations and senior government leaders. We will also engage in a number of community service activities. As I'm sure you can already imagine, this is going to be a once in a lifetime (yet very costly) experience. Proceeds from this fundraiser will go to offset the costs of my travel expenses and the production of a short film about our journey to Tanzania.
What I can promise: You will not just be helping to send me to Tanzania, you will be presented with the opportunity to see it firsthand as I will be documenting my journey through film and photography, and sharing my journey with you all upon my return through a short film that I will shoot and produce myself.
Will you help send me to Tanzania and share that story with the world? Your kindness will not soon be forgotten.
