I would like to help a woman who has suffered multiple pregnancy losses in only one year, including 2 sons in her second trimester. I just found out about a weekend retreat in California this spring, asked her if she was interested, and found out she'd love to go!
Retreat H.O.P.E
is an intimate healing retreat for women who have had a baby die during pregnancy, infancy, or early toddlerhood.
At the retreat you will find:
Healing from grief,
Optimism for your journey, a
Plan for the future, and Encouragement from others.
This retreat will focus on you. Our goal is to share valuable tools and insights that you can use over a lifetime to care for your body, mind, and heart in new ways after loss.
The cost of the retreat is $800, airfare is $331 plus taxes, and transportation from the Santa Barbara airport to and from Ojaj, CA is $180 plus tax and tip. I'm rounding $1311 up to $1400 to cover misc. taxes and tips that come with it as everything is booked.
Gofundme also charges a small percentage for this fundraising service, but I will absorb that in it's entirety.
