Remembering Julie

Julie has fought a long, difficult battle with Multiple Sclerosis. It seems as though this battle may come to an end soon. She has been at Mt. Carmel East for a week with multiple infections, and the doctors say they would be "pleasantly surprised" if she recovers. Her three daughters, myself and my sisters, have stayed by her side for most of her stay at the hospital. The rest of her family and close friends have all sat with her as well. She is loved dearly by these people, and we are distraught about the possibility of her passing. We are also distressed by the reality of making arrangements for her in the event she passes. Her life insurance policy expired last year, and none of us are in a financial position to do anything for her. We are a family plagued with bankruptcy, student loan debt, lack of hours available at our places of work, etc. Julie is only 48. As her oldest daughter at 29, we were ill-prepared for this outcome. The amount listed is how much a basic cremation and viewing costs at Schoedinger. Whatever money is raised will go toward this cost, whether it's in the next couple days, or 6 months down the road when she has another complication. We appreciate all the emotional support you have all offered, and humbly accept any financial support you can offer.
