Funds for a generator in Madagaskar

I finished my final RN apprenticeship at Andranomadio Hospital in Madagascar in December of 2013.
This hospital is located in Antsirabe, which is in the midlands of Madagascar. It's a private Lutheran Hospital, and they treat anyone who comes to the hospital and assist them with whatever healthcare is needed. Other hospitals in the area ask the sick or their families to go buy the supplies before they get treated; however at Andranomadio, they will be treated, and receive a bill after they have received treatment.
A common problem in Antsirabe is that the electricity goes out unexpectedly, which is also a problem at Andranomadio. There is a generator, but it must be manually started, and then only one of the operating lamps can be used. None of the electrical instruments can be used.
Electricity goes out often in the middle of surgeries, which I experienced. I had to use the flashlight on my cell phone as a surgery light.
One can attempt to make this work once in awhile, but in reality this happened several times, and sometimes they had to reschedule the surgeries because the lights didn't get come back on. A flashlight on a cell can only do for a short time.
Because of this constant challenge, I would like to raise funds so that they will have power in the surgery block and the maternity ward for the incubators. This way they won't have to reschedule, and will be able to go on with the work that they need to do. They have several surgeries scheduled every day, provided the power is on!
