Kortney Johnson Fund

Our friend, Kortney Johnson, was in Maine with her family and friends playing in the snow and enjoying the winter weather. Sadly, last Friday, she was in a sledding accident and hit a tree head on. After being transferred to a trauma center in Bangor, she learned that she has multiple fractures in her back and neck. She had an angel looking out for her though, as she has no paralysis or loss of feeling! She will be in the hospital for at least a week, then will come home to SW Florida for likely many months of care. She will need to be off work for 4-6 weeks, and will need bracing and physical therapy.
Many people have asked how they can help, which is the reason for this site. As you know, medical expenses add up and we want Kortney to be able to focus on healing, and help her out as much as possible with the rest.
