Michelle’s Medical Fund

MichelleTodd needs our help! She is many things, but we all know stubborn tops the list, so I am doing this anyway...

Michelle needs a medical miracle AND a new service dog!

I know that Michelle is very very
grateful for all the love and support she has been given with regards to her health as well as with Shelly’s recent health struggles, and I know that this is a huge request, but to put it simply, for less than $20,000 we can give Michelle something she hasn’t had in 25 years....

GOOD HEALTH!!!

Michelle has the chance to participate in a stem cell therapy trial.

However, in order to participate, Michelle will have to have several hospital stays as well as miss considerable amounts of work.

Michelle is a single mother on disability, who still works the maximum allowed by disability to provide for her family. Unfortunately, despite having great insurance, her copays have continually gone up. Missing work will make it impossible for her to make her monthly budget. As a result, she does not think participating in this trial is possible.

Michelle has dedicated her whole life to helping other people. She has been a friend to everyone and there is nothing she won’t do or sacrifice for her friends. I’m sure each of us can think of a time that she was there for us: Adoption mentor, foster care mentor, PTA, MOMs Club, Scouts, church, and in life. Now, it is our turn to be there for her.

I know $18,000 seems like an insurmountable figure, but she does not need it all up front. So, whether you can give a 1 time donation, or a small monthly donation for a year, every little bit will help Michelle get the miracle of health and a new service dog.

It is also important to note that this is not a placebo study. This is a treatment option that has already proven effective in similar medical conditions and they are now testing its effectiveness in other autoimmune diseases. There is every reason to believe this will be successful.

Shelly and Michelle will be so grateful!

And remember, even if you can’t donate, please SHARE SHARE SHARE this on your page.

“The best part of  my hospital is the 24 hour room service! Pudding at 2am? Yes, please!”

While mom’s getting an MRI, Shelly makes herself comfortable.

Michelle is not a fan of the “Michael Jackson mask”.

When these lesions first began appearing, we all joked that Michelle had leprosy.  Lol

Shelly and Michelle at the Reagan Library.  Life is easier with a service dog. Everybody loves Shelly!
