Elbow Surgery

Hello friends, my name is Victor Cadavid. As you know, me and my family are working as missionaries in Zambia, in the south of Africa.
In March I had an accident where I fell through the roof. I broke my radius bone and dislocated my elbow. I was taken to the local public hospital and got a procedure on my elbow, got a cast and was in a lot of pain during the whole time I had it on.
On Friday I went back for a check up and to get the cast removed at the local public hospital. As they removed the cast I could see the elbow area more swollen and almost as painful as it was at the time that I got hurt. As I tried to move my arm I almost passed out because of the pain. I went back home very worried and depressed because they didn't answer my questions at the local hospital and my left arm is very painful and locked on a 90 degrees position.
After talking with my wife we decided that it was time to look for an specialist in the capital city Lusaka. After explaining my accident to the doctor he took another x-ray and told me that my elbow is still dislocated and the bone is still fractured as well. The radius needs to be fixed and the head of the bone needs to be removed (the treatment at the public hospital did not work).
So he told me that I need surgery as soon as this week. We need to pay the money upfront to be able to get it done by Monday, April 9th, 2018.
The doctor will fix the fracture of the radius, remove the broken bits of bone and put a small pin to hold the elbow in a right position for 3 weeks. If I do not get the surgery my elbow will be locked in this position for the rest of my life according to the doctor. I cannot move my elbow in any direction or carry anything.
The money raised will be used strictly to pay for the surgery and expenses related to it. We need this help as soon as possible since surgery should be done this week.
I will go by faith tomorrow knowing that God will take care of me. In addition to your financial support, I would like to ask for your prayers.
