My name is Laura Jahnke. I’ve had the pleasure and privilege to be a member of this community for several years.

In the year of our Lord 2011, I became a member of this community of volunteers, mostly made up of stay at home mom‘s, that volunteered at this wonderful school called Godley Station Elementary school.

This community of mothers came together for several hours a year to volunteer at our children’s school for our PTA, teachers and staff. And as the years progressed, our children have grown up together like family.

And like any family if one is in need we all pitch in to help whether it is bringing a covered dish for a family who was hungry or for a family celebrating a birth of a new child or in this case a tragic accident.
