Louisa Judd Madagascar Expedition 2025

Madagascar 2025 will challenge me (Louisa) to explore the world, build international friendships, contribute to international development and immerse myself in a different culture.

I'll spend three weeks in Madagascar working together with Malagasy Scouts and local partner organisations.

Together we'll build shared experiences, exchange ideas, contribute to local community and Scout projects, and explore Madagascar.

We'll work in partnership with Akany Avoko Children's Centres who care for vulnerable children. The link is below for more info.

This is something that will push me well out if my comfort zone being away form home and family and pushing myself as part of the scout community to better myself whilst helping others.

I do hope you can help me support this cause and help the Scouts in other countries less fortunate than our own.

I will be travelling through Madagascar with 40 other scouts leaders and explorers staying in orphanages and living along side the Madagscy people. This is something I could never of seen me doing a couple of years ago but with the support of family, friends and the opputunity given to me by Scouts it is something I am looking forward to albeit way out of my comfort zone.

Any money raised over the amount needed will be do ated to the Madagascar 2026 trip and be split amount the next group. So all money raised will go towards Madagascar trips 2025 and onwards.
