Hello everyone, my name is Pablo.
I was taken in by the folks of Dusty Trails Horse Rescue today 7/19/2017. For the last week or so I have been roaming a neighborhood looking for food and water. I really don't recall much about my past but the people at DTHR told me today that I don't have to worry anymore.
They also said that I'm around 3.5 years old, a TWH, must have had a rough start in life and have a long road ahead of me to get well again. Whatever that means.
They were talking about the living things in my mane, I think they called them "ton of ticks and lice" and that I am very anemic. Supposedly they will get rid of them crawly things.
I don't understand people language but in the past it wasn't nice. Today some ladies were talking to me and touching me gently and that made me really tired and I felt calm and safe. I never felt that before but I like it!
The folks at Dusty Trails Horse Rescue said that they hope other people will help with donations to support me. I need lots of special feed, supplements, wormings, shots, flyspray etc. and eventually I need to get gelded.
Should there be any money left over it will go towards the care of the other horses here at DTHR.
The people here are all volunteers and every penny goes to the horses and in this case me! I know I'm in good hands and am looking forward to feel better soon!
Thank you for your support!
