This is a hard post to write. Most of you know me and have known me for at least 20 years. 10 years ago, I decided to back to Union to be closer to my family. 7 years ago, I had my first major stroke. I'd learned to walk again and started all over. I went back to work and started my life over. Then my mother died almost 4 years ago to date. I'm not going to lie, that's the hardest thing I've ever been through in my life, and I went through a deep depression. I just started coming out of it and went back to work when I had my second major stroke. This one affected me mentally and physically, so I'm still recuperating from it 3 years later. I lost my home and moved into my grandparents' home, which is where I grew up. To say the last 3 years have been hard is almost an understatement. I've lost all of my friends. I know I still have friends in Clinton and Laurens, but I'm not going to lie, I've had to ask for money, beg almost, to survive the last 3 years, and a lot of people don't want to be my friend anymore, and I can understand that. In June of this year, I lost my disability. That was hard. I went to having no money on a daily basis, and I still struggle with that to this day. Disability is saying it will take about a year to get my money started again. I tried to go back to Waffle House, but they know I'm not really able to because of the strokes. Sometimes my mental being is not that strong. My depression has grown deeper and deeper and is probably sometimes out of control, especially if you ask my son. Malachi has stayed with me through it all to help me, and he won't leave me, which I find a great help, but I'm ready for him to be able to start his life. He is also epileptic has been his whole life and I have him waiting for disability but I've also been told it will take about a year. I sold my house right before the taxes were due, and it's been a roller coaster since then. To say I live life hard is not an over-exaggeration by any means. A lot of times, we don't even have food to eat, but now I'm facing losing my home again because the buyer wants it, and I understand that, but I haven't found a place to move yet because I don't have any money. I can probably move into the projects when I have all the paperwork done, but it's not right now, and I'm scared they're going to kick me out and leave me with nowhere to go. I haven't really had a Christmas in the past 3 years because I've been broke, but now I'm scared that me and my son are going to lose our home. Luckily, Jeremiah is staying with my aunt, and she takes wonderful care of him, but I just don't know what to do anymore. I want money to buy my son Christmas, I want food, I don't know what to do, so I'm asking for help. I probably have written this all wrong, but like I said, I don't know what to do. I need help. I'm asking my friends and family for help because I don't know who else to turn to. I broke my glasses a few weeks ago, and I can't see. I just don't know what to do anymore, and several people have asked me to do a GoFundMe, and that's hard for me to do because I never asked people for money. It's so hard; it makes me feel so bad, but I don't know what else to do. I really need help. And I hate to ask you, but I don't know what else to do. If you have any heart to help me any, I would really appreciate it. It was hard to write this, so I would really rather not get untasteful comments, but I understand where they come from. I just ask that you have a spirit of Christmas, and if it touches your heart to leave a little bit of money, please do. Please help me get back where I was. I just need help, and I don't know who else to ask, so I'm asking you, please help me. I have had many people help me with food, and I ask you to please pray for me if you can. But if God puts it in your heart to help me, then please do and help me get straightened out again so I can start living. Depression is not easy, and I don't know what else to do. If you have any questions about my situation, I'll be glad to answer them. I just need help. I've prayed about it and prayed about it, and this seems like what to do, so if you can help me, please do, and if you can't, I totally understand, and I'm still praying for you, and I still love you. If you need anything, please let me know, but please help me if you can. Thank you.
