Let's Get Kim A New Heart
Update on Kim, Dr Wey came to see her this morning and gave us the news that she will have to see Dr Hall out of Dallas. She is the Dr that controls the list for heart transplant. Good news is that all other organs are healthy and makes her a prime candidate to receive the transplant because she is so young. She will have to have a psychological evaluation before the transplant can be done. At 4 today she went into surgery and had a defibrillator/ pacemaker put in under her left collar bone to assist in keeping her heart working until she can have the transplant done. This has been a very big pill for her to swallow and is currently in a lot of pain. A great big THANK YOU to all who have come to visit her and reassure her that everything will work out and that God is in control. It means the world to her to know that there are people who care about her. Great big THANK YOU to Robert and Kim Hicks for your care and concern for her. Not only for her physical health but her spiritual health as well. Your friendship means everything to us. Everyone please continue the prayers, not only for her but for the whole family. It has been hard for her mom and dad as well for Kim is there only child. Thank you to them for everything they do for us. Without them only god knows where we would be. Any and all visitors are welcome while we are still here. They truly help her in this time of need to help her understand that she is cared for.
