Chance to compete at the Wales international model United Nations competition

Hello everyone, I am Gabriel Pino and I am a recent graduate from Kennesaw State University where I received my MS in International Policy Management. During my post graduate education I joined the Kennesaw State University Model United Nations team. During my time with the team I was able to attend two conferences.
I attended the South Regional MUN conference in Atlanta in the OAS and I was able to compete at the Milan International Model United Nations Conference in the Human Rights Council where I earned an Honorable Mention award. Along with my competition participation I have assisted with the Kennesaw State University High School Model United Nations Competition serving as assistant chair for the GA 3rd and this year for UNESCO.
Aside from the HSMUN conference preparations I still attend and try to assist the current students in their preparations for their upcoming conference at Cardiff in Wales. I recently came into contact with the Secretary General for the conference and to my complete surprise, I was told I would be permitted to compete regardless that I recently graduated. With all that I have mentioned above I hope that I have shown that my intent for this page and the funds is not just for a trip to Wales, but really the intent is for the chance to compete one last time in something that I have grown to love deeply.
My masters being in International Policy Management also means that this trip could be extremely beneficial for the career I am trying to begin. My goal is set to 1800 dollars. The funds will be used to pay my round trip ticket, my stay at the hotel, and food. Any and all help that can be given will bring me closer to the chance to bring home an award one more time and allow me to end my MUN career on a real high note. Thank you in advance!
