The Meyers family struggle....

Many of you know Bob and Sheryl Meyers and their son, Brent's 15 year struggle with cancer. Brent was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer at the age of three. Fast forward and Brent is now 18 and still battling this horrible disease. This family has fought an amazing fight and Brent has shown amazing strength and courage through it all. Sadly this fight is in its final chapter. Brent and his family have been told by his doctors that his cancer is no longer responding to the chemo therapy and there is nothing else they can do. The Doctors give Brent just a couple months:.. This amazing family has had to bear too much in the last 15 years watching their son struggle through all the setbacks throughout his fight. Please see The Caring Bridge for more details. Bob has worked two jobs so that Sheryl could stay home a care for Brent while still paying all of the medical bills that mount. This has been a tremendous financial strain on the family yet they never ask why they just keep on doing. Because of Brent's weaken state he finds most his enjoyment on his old computer, gaming. His computer is very old and slow to run games on. Brent's life dream is building his own computer. For now ALL that matters is Brent and precious time. Wouldn't it be wonderful if we all could help relieve the family of money worries? Bob, Sheryl, and Lindsay would be able to focus entirely on Brent and living life to its fullest these last couple of months they have together. Wouldn't it be awesome if we could help Brent build the computer of his dreams?
