Over 20% of the Amazon Rainforest has been deforested. As clear-cutting and fossil fuel extraction continues, a bit further degradation will cause a collapse in the water systems, affecting everyone on earth. Humanity is in great danger, as the Amazon Rainforest has reached the ultimate tipping point! In order to reroute a climate change catastrophe, we must keep the largest and most biodiverse remaining rainforest intact. To bring to light the problems and solutions that we are facing, is why I've been working and living with indigenous people creating my documentary film, The Roots Awaken, for the past 5 years. I have... - Traveled and worked in the Amazon Rainforest in Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Brazil with +15 Indigenous tribes - Participant in +5 International Gatherings of Indigenous Leaders for climate change Solutions - Raised 60% of the budget for the film from +315 donors I have been creating this documentary as an action to protect Indigenous people, the Amazon Rainforest, and humanity. Now is the time to awaken our higher consciousness to protect the sanctity of life; I am going to show you how we can do this through, The Roots Awaken. We are 5 years finished and one year left; we are almost at the finish line! With great excitement, we invite you to be a part of the solution and bring the documentary to the world. We need your support now! Donations exceeding $500 will receive a special thanks in the credits My heartfelt gratitude, Kumiko Hayashi Stay connected, subscribe to our newsletter, and visit us at: www.therootsawaken.com
