Angels Story

Angel is the hardest working, most determined and selfless person that I know. She graduated high school in 2009 and enrolled in college soon after determined to reach her goal of being a dental hygienist. To say the least Angel did have a rough childhood and was forced to grow up faster than most, but that only made her stronger. Angel works two jobs to pay her way through school. She has completely supported herself since around the age of 16 working 7 days a week. During the week she works as a dental assistant and on the weekend she works boiling seafood. Saturday 1-18-14 things changed for the worse. She was spraying ant poison under a counter when the coffee pot fell off the counter and spilled hot coffee covering her back. She was quickly taken to the hospital and told she had both second and third degree burns covering her back and pieces of her left arm. Angel was sent to the burn unit at Our Lady of Lourdes where she stayed for three days in tremendous pain. Thankfully Angel is back home to recover but is still in quite a bit of pain. She needs help doing most everything she was able to do on a normal day. Angel is not able to go back to work at this point in time therefore she has had to drop all her classes for her last semester before applying for hygiene school. Not only is Angel physically hurting she is also financially hurting due to the fact that she is unable to work. Unfortunately Angel has no health insurance so all of her medical bills will have to come out of pocket meaning that will put her education to a temporary stop. Angel is not one to ask for help so I as a friend of hers have taken it upon myself to do everything in my power to help her out as much as I can. I know Angel would do the same for any one of her friends. With that being said I would like to ask for you to make a donation to get her back on her feet.
