Barry's Battle
Donation protected
For those of you who have not already heard, a great person and true father of the pool community has been strickened with Cancer.
Barry will not be able work anytime in the near future. Charitable donations have already been received on Barry's behalf totalling roughly $800 and we thank the people of the pool community for their no hesitation donations. But its not even close to enough.
Although it's early, and we don't know how bad it is yet. This diagnosis will undoubtedly affect his life immensely in the immediate future. Barry has committed to a massive diet change involving cutting out red meat and juicing everyday. Although this doctor recommended diet is a positive in that it will slow down if not totally reverse the growth. This diet comes at a very expensive weekly cost. Not to mention the daily costs of living without bening able to work.
Barry is a warrior. If you're lucky enough to know Barry, you know what all of his close friends know. He's always there for his friends.
Barry is a very strong person. He has decided to face this battle head on. I respect him greatly for that.
We will be looking to throw a benefit for him in the immediate future. Most likely invoving a pool tournament. Please be on the lookout for the details and please attend it you can.
