My Mom Has Cancer- Please Help!

October 16, 2013... We received the worst news ever. They told us my mom has cancer. They didn't really know much that day other than the fact that she did have Stage 4 Cancer and it was in the liver. It took a few weeks for them to give us a proper diagnosis.
After numerous appointments, labs, scans, etc...They told us that she had a Cholangiocarcinoma. A very rare type of cancer (of course). Also known as Bile Duct Cancer. She started chemo shortly after for about a month or so. We then saw a liver surgeon who suggested that she have liver surgery to have her liver resected and attempt to remove the tumor. Telling us that it was the only chance at a cure. My mom quickly decided on the surgery.
So, on January 13th of this year my mom had 3/4's (approximately 75%) of her liver removed. The doctor was able to successfully remove the tumor. In a few weeks he will run some more tests to see if the cancer is still there or not.
She is trying to recover from this very big and painful surgery. As you may all understand she is starting to receive doctors bills...an overwhelming amount of them from Oncologists, Specialists that we saw, Doctor's, ICU stay, Chemo treatments...the list goes on and on.
Now, she is in need of physical therapy. Chemo might still be necessary in a few weeks. Expenses continue to add up.
I never imagined we would be going through this. Much less asking for help. It is truly devastating and a test of faith to experience something like this with a loved one. Our family has been brought together even closer during this time.
