Help Me Play College Baseball!

My name is JohnAnthony Pichardo. I live with my mother in the Lower East Side of Manhattan and I'm a currently high school senior at Cristo Rey New York High School.
Playing baseball in college has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember. I have worked hard to improve my skills and keep my grades up with the hopes of getting on a college roster. A few months ago the head coach of The College of Mount Saint Vincent informed me that I had been accepted to the school and that he was holding a roster position for me! To play college baseball at a strong academic school near New York City and my family would be every dream come true. However, The College Mount Saint Vincent is a small private school and does not offer athletic scholarships. Complicating things a bit more, I recently received my financial aid award package and it offered little hope.
Over the next 4 years I will need approximately $75,000 to cover the gap between what my mother and I can afford and what my tuition, room and board expenses will be. The money I am hoping to raise will be only be used toward my college education. I have also applied for various scholarships and grants which I am hopeful about!
I have been offered an opportunity to continue my education and my baseball career at the next level which is a true blessing. Your support would get me closer and would mean so much to me. I know a college degree will change my life and playing college baseball would be a dream come true.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and thank you for any assistance you can offer!
I am forever grateful for all I have and all I achieve going forward.
Please help spread the word!
