Christmas for kids in Puerto Rico
Donation protected
Most of you know we have been in Puerto Rico responding to Hurricane Maria.
The more urgent and even greater opportunity is the need for supplies such as fresh water and food.We can’t supply the entire island but we can take care of this entire community.
Regarding food and water, SoCAT purchased a 22’ box truck and the military has agreed to provide as much water and MRE’s as we can haul. We are going to start Monday and make as many trips as we can through Christmas. Our goal is to make 3 trips a day for the next 10 days. This will completely take care of this entire community...and more. The gifts for the kids is the icing on the cake!
This is not the first time CDR has stepped up and without a doubt it will not be the last. Our goal is $20,000. SouthernCAT has started the fund with the first $5,000.00. I know we can hit this goal. We will send pics and video of the food delivery and the children receiving their gifts.
The need here is serious.
Keyshla Bracero Ballester is with our Southern Cat Puerto Rico team. She will be handling all the money to go towards getting the supplies and toys for the kids. We appreciate all the help from everyone that has and will contribute to this great cause!
Thanks in advance for your willingness to give.
Respectfully,
Nathan, Jennifer & Jason
