Need a Van To Transport Clients

Donation protected

VansForVets.Org is attempting to raise funds in order to purchase handicap-equipped vans for our Applicant's. We have over 3000 applicant's. Obviously, we are overwhelmed by the need/demand. But we are meeting our 'Mission' to help Vet's and the Community, "One Life At A Time"!

The money collected will go towards helping our Applicant's to get a vehicle of their own so that family members can transport them to/from doctor appointments, social events, to church, work, school and to have access to a vehicle that can accommodate persons with mobility challenges/issues. 100% of all donations go directly to support our Applicant's. VansForVets.Org is a 100% All-Volunteer Organization with no outstanding bills or debts of any kind and is supported totally through contributions by its Officers, Directors, and members of the General Public. VansForVets.Org is not affiliated with any politcal action group but does deliver goods and services through Christian ideology. We will 'leave the 90 and 9...to save the lost sheep'.

Supporters can also help by starting a Chapter of VansForVets.Org in their hometown! It's fun! We have Chapters all across America. In AZ, Lt. Teddy Lincoln started a Chapter and holds 'Bowl-A-Rama's' once a month to help support Homeless Vet's and families, and at-risk youth reunite with their families. In Warner Robins, GA, Mrs. Joy-Mann Simmons heads the VFV Chapters for Warner Robins, Perry, Bonaire and Macon metro area's. Joy focuses on reuniting at-risk youth with families, specializing in re-unting families in distress and assisting service men/women transition back to Civilian life. In VA Beach, VA, Mrs. Polly Cowan, Chapter President, provides emergency shelter, holds 'Stand-Down' events, provides free transport for people needing rides to VA hospitals in Norfolk, Hampton and New Port News. And, generally, Polly can be found cooking/serving delicious meals to Vet's and families, but VansForVets.Org never turns away anyone who is hungry, homeless, distressed or just in need of a good 'ole fashioned Hugg!'

Supporters can also start get involved in programs, at their own 'grass-roots-level', such as 'Cans For Vets', where folks, kids, Scout Troops, etc., can simply collect used Soda Cans, take empties to a local recycler, and send the proceeds to VansForVets.Org. All Volunteers become eligible to receive The President's Volunteer Service Award, after completion of 100 Hours of public service. You'd be surprised. It does'nt take long to 'rack up a hundred hours', especially when you're having fun and helping other people.
