kidney transplant fund

In 2001, I had to have a kidney transplant, because my kidneys had never fully matured. They were the size of a two year old's. I had always been ill growing up, but we never knew why until i was ten. thats when they noticed something was wrong with my cell count. I had to go on dialysis to clean my body before i was transplanted. I received my mom's kidney, but they had to remove both my own kidneys. Due to the fact they weren't sure why they had failed in the first place, they didn't want the old one to infect the new one. Since then, I have been on medication to keep from rejection, but unfortunately two years ago, the doctors told me my body was rejecting my kidney. The doctors were able to keep it functioning on twenty percent for a little over a year. I've been in and out of hospitals since then. In August, I had to begin dialysis. Now, we are searching for a suitable donor but it is difficult to find especially since i've had one transplant already. Because of this lengthy medical process and since I'm unable to work, our medical bills have risen exponentially. So many people have been supporting me and i can't thank everyone enough for that. People have expressed a desire to help so we created this website for everyone that would like to give towards the "Transplant Hannah" fund.
