Jim is now 36, a diabetic and has neuropathy which led to amputation of his big toe a few of years ago.
In May 2012, Jim was getting very sick, couldn't hold anything down. He was hospitalized for 2 months (May/June 2012) in Port Huron, MI., where he had two procedures.
Then transferred him to ST. Joseph Mercy Hospital of Ann Arbor, MI. by ambulance.
Jim had a very large bronchial cyst that was around his heart, lungs and esophagus.
In June he had two major surgeries the 1st to remove the bronchial cyst and the 2nd one to repair a hole in his esophagus the doctor created and he stayed there month.
In Aug. Sept. and Oct. 2013 he's was hospitalized five times until returning to ST. Joseph Mercy Hospital of Ann Arbor on Oct. 25th.
He still had a hole in his esophagus.

Jim had a major surgery on Oct. 29th (cut 3 inches of his rib took the whole right side chest muscle out and placed it between his lung and esophagus to seal the hole from the outside) to no avail.
Nov. 20th another surgery (with clips on the inside of his esophagus and a tube next to it to collect drainage. Jim had 5 drainage tubes coming out of his back,) without success. Many other procedures, without any luck.
The doctor removed 5 inches of his esophagus and Jim was sent home with his esophagus on the outside of his neck that drained into a colostomy bag.
He was unable to eat anything to eat for 11 months. Jim was being fed through a tube in his stomach. Yes, he's lost over 170 lbs which is a good thing but not in a healthy way.
Dec. 2012 Jim was recommended to go to U of M Hospital for further surgeries:
August 20th 2013 Doctors had to move his stomach up and re-construct his esophagus and reconnect to his stomach.
Jim had 3 more surgeries due to complications. Jim was hospitalized there for another month.
Jim is now healing from all the he has endured and trying to get on with his life.
Due to all of his infections while Jim was hospitalized they had to remove all of his teeth.
Jim finally has disability pay but, has no extra money to catch up on his old bills and to get dentures.
36 years old don't want to be walking around without teeth.
Jim had a total of 17 surgeries and 10 procedures during a year in a half time frame.
He also, was hospitalized for 7 months during that time.
He had no insurance and hasn't been back to work since of May 2012!
ALMOST TWO YEARS NOW!
When Jim was hospitalized, he lost his apartment, his phone and we had to find a new home for his beloved dog Jax, which he misses dearly and cannot get back due to where he lives now!
Thank God Jet's Pizza has wonderful owners and is keeping his job opened for him!

Can you please help him out?
