My name is Aaron Myers and I am a Jazz Entertainer based in Washington DC.
For 5 years I served as the Resident Artist at the Black Fox Lounge completing over 140 Shows. Currently I am the Resident Artist at the Legendary Mr. Henry's on Capitol Hill (Aaron Myers at Mr. Henry's) .
In 2015 I was voted "Best Singer" in the Washington City Paper "Best of DC" Readers Poll => Best Singer - Best of DC. As a FULL TIME Independent Artist I've been ranked either #1 or in the top 10 on the Reverbnation Jazz Charts for Washington DC & Nationally.
I am a strong believer in using my Art for Activism. Because of this I serve on the Board of Directors for two non-profits, servie as Minister of Music of a Church and try to use my voice to bring awareness to community based causes and organizations.
As an Indie Artist, I do not have the support of a label or their team. Everything from Booking, Promotion, PR, Contracts, Rehearsals, and Performances are all handled by me =>Aaron Myers on Good Day DC!
As I record this project, I would like your support in ensuring that I am able to get my expression of art through music to as many people as possible. I am also trying to have it submitted by the Grammy Deadline of August 26th & released on September 9th. The musicians are chosen, music is written, and with your support, we can release "The Lion's Den" and submit it to be considered for the GRAMMY!
