Caldwell's Cataract Fund

I volunteer for Oklahoma Westie Rescue and Caldwell is an 8 year old Cairn terrier that we rescued from a local animal shelter.  He has been diagnosed with extremely advanced cataracts and is in desparate need of surgery.  We have had him evaluated at OSU Veterinary Hospital and the surgery  will completely restored his sight in one eye and provide  some vision in the other.  Right now, this little guy has almost no vision at all, but has managed to find his way around his foster home.  He is an extremely sweet dog and our hope is that we can raise the funds necessary for the surgery and find him the most wonderful forever home!

With approximately 80 dogs in our rescue group at present, we do not have the funds readily available to pay for this surgery.  Any money raised will be used for his surgery and after care.  The surgery is scheduled for May 3rd, so this is somewhat of an urgent need.

It is our goal as a rescue organization, to provide the best possible care for the dogs that we bring into our organization and give them a chance at a happy and healthy life.

With your help, we can give this precious gift to Caldwell.
