Eye Surgery For Walter

Meet wonderful Walter!   When we met this precious pup, he was in terrible shape.  He was suffering with horrific skin infections that had caused his fur to fall out, painful ear infections that have impaired his hearing, and  ocular disease that has left him blind and prone to serious infections.  We couldn't turn our backs on this lovable little guy.  So we welcomed him into our San Francisco shelter and vowed to help him heal and find his forever family.  Thanks to the tireless efforts of our amazing staff and volunteers, Walter is now on the mend.  He has received much needed vet attention and is taking medicines for his skin and ears.  He also gets regular medicated baths and lots of hotdogs and tummy rubs on the shelter couch.  While Walter is doing so much better now, his doctors have told us he needs to have both of his eyes removed; leaving them in would put Walter at grave risk of further serious infections.  

What can you do?   We're asking for your loving support to help us pay for Walter's enucleation surgery and the medicines he'll have to take afterwards.  As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, we're 100% funded by donations from generous folks like you.  Every dollar you give helps us save and heal beautiful dogs like Walter and help them find their loving forever homes. We just know once Walter has the surgery he needs, he'll be pain free and ready to find his special adopter!  We're so grateful for your support; we couldn't do this without you!
