Christmas for the Homeless

Every year around this time I gather up a group of people who want to donate to my give the homeless a Christmas project. Christmas is coming around I never want to see a homeless person hungry or cold on Christmas. My care packages last year included the following items: 2 sandwiches, 2 water bottles, snacks, fruits & vegetables, socks, first aid kit, ear plugs so bugs don't crawl into their ears at night, gloves as well as latex gloves, hand wipes, soap, sanitizer, toothbrush & toothpaste, bags, feminine products for the women, diapers for children, pet food for animals, and $20 cash. This year I wanna switch it up and actually prepare hot home cooked meals. Any penny that doesn't get used gets donated to a hospital or charity. Anything you can donate would be greatly appreciated. Last year I was blessed enough to raise over $900 and make 300 care packages! I'm hoping I can beat that this year by hitting $2,000 and being able to help more.
