Bringing Debra Back Home

Debra Grier is in Spanish Meadows Nursing Home in Katy, Texas since October 12, 2018. She was in ICU at North Cypress Medical Center beginning on September 20, 2018 after cardiac arrest and respiratory failure two days following her feeding tube placement. I am David Grier (Debra’s husband) and along with Margie (Debra’s Mom) we have taken care of her at home since being diagnosed with Primary Progressive Aphasia and Pick’s Disease in May of 2017.  We miss her at home and visit her everyday to show our love and support. She can no longer communicate and being on a ventilator through a tracheostomy tube is painful all the time. Witnessing the ordeal of a loved one in a degenerative disease is life changing. Debra changed my life when I first met her with her unwavering loyalty and unconditional love for me. She inspired me to be a better man and husband and that still continues today, even more.  She is my daily reminder of human resiliency and God’s grace. We need Debra rehabilitated and safe to come back to her home. Margie, myself and our beloved pups Alvin, Jasmine, Zooey and Cuddles need her back safe and secure to make us whole again. Please help if you can or share, I have my hands full everyday dealing with uncooperative insurance and bureaucratic government agencies. Debra deserves all the help she can get. Thank you, David
