He Did It...Richard "Graduated"from Harvard!

Richard Jenkins, who turns 22 in April 2022, is from the inter-city of Philadelphia and he began his academic career in the Philadelphia public school system. His intellectual prowess and extraordinarily charming mannerisms did not go unnoticed by his peers and educators. He received a full scholarship to Philadelphia's prestigious college preparatory boarding school, Girard College, and graduated as the valedictorian in June 2018. Later that Fall, Richard attended Harvard University and now he will be graduating in May 2022.

 

Richard came from a poor struggling family that was once homeless. He was a highly disciplined and motivated young man, so I started a GFM fundraiser in 2018 to help pay for his living expenses throughout college. Richard kept his focus, and with the help of the American community and their generous donations, he completed his requirements for a B.A. degree in four years.

 

I'm creating this campaign so that Richard can handle the financial expenses that are about to come his way. Richard has a new job and will be starting it soon after graduation. I would like to get him a nice dependable car so he can drive to work and drivings lessons, because he still doesn't have a driver's license. And also, I would like to help him pay for a nice apartment.

 

This is a fundraiser to help an extraordinary young man begin his future. I'm only asking for donations if you can spare it. If not, I'm asking for your prayers and blessings for the future of this proud young American native son. As a soldier and Army civilian, I spent three years deployed in war zones, and I never really could articulate a good reason for why I deployed to defend my country. This young man is the reason. I'm asking you to help me launch America's future.
