Anglican Church of the Trinity, Mckinney (ACT McKinney) is affiliated with the Anglican Diocese of the Trinity with headquarters at Indianapolis, IN. Established 20th August 2017, our mandate by the grace of God through the Diocesan, Rt Revd Amos Fagbamiye is to reach out and propagate the gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to the unreached.
Under the leadership of Revd Canon Adebayo Adenekan (Rector) and Mama Oluwabukonla Adenekan, with the support of Revd and Mrs. Akindebe, ACT McKinney attempts to execute its purpose by building a family church culture, whereby all individual families are warmly welcomed and built up with God's unperishable word. In order to do this, ACT Mckinney holds a diverse array of fellowship meetings during the week: Holy Communion and Matins Services on Sundays; Community evangelism outreach, held last Sunday of every month; ACT Mckinney Women's fellowship, held every 2nd Saturday of the Month; ACT Bible Club for individuals under the age of 18, held every 3rd Saturday of the month; Bible Study, held every Tuesday; and Hour of Prayer, held every Wednesday.
While the Church originally started with two families: The Adenekans and the Akindebes, many more families have joined the church since its formation, - all to the glory of God. Within seven months of its launch and majorly due to its increasing number of worshippers, ACT McKinney moved its first meeting place (the home of the Akindebes) to a larger space, provided by Cross point Church, at 2010 S. Stonebridge Dr, Mckinney TX. Currently, ACT McKinney meets for its services at the children's building at Cross point Church, while its other fellowship meetings are held in homes of church families and via teleconference.
In order to fully execute our culture and our vision, it is our fervent desire to have a permanent place of worship of our own – a building where our families can congregate and be empowered to continue to spread this gospel. In view with this, we humbly ask that you partner with us with making this vision a reality. As you do so, we claim for you and your loved ones the prayers our Lord Jesus uttered in Luke 6: 38: Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken tougher and running over, will be poured into your lap...."
