Mission Trip to Haiti

Hello Friends and Family,
Four years ago this month, one of the world's worst natural disasters hit Haiti in its capital of Port-au-Prince. A 7.0-magnitude earthquake shattered thousands of buildings and killed up to 300,000 people. When I visited the country 6 months after the earthquake years ago, I saw with my own eyes how the country was completely devastated. There were huge piles of rubble on the streets, concrete buildings collapsed and thousands of Tarp huts for families with 5+ members. But thanks to relief from millions of people around the world Haiti is "out of the emergency room and into rehabilitation".
As the nation is in motion for physical progress, Riverside Church has made it their responsibility to respond with aid to start a spiritual revival. That is why we are joining a team for 1 week to help bring about this hope of Christ. Our goal and mission as a team is to start a movement of spiritual awakening for the people of Port-au-Prince. The ministry work will involve speaking at the night services, prayer walking, ministering to orphans but also doing construction, general medical application and kids activities.
Kali and I have been given peace to be a part of the work the Lord is already doing in Haiti through Riverside church. Pastor Moise is our contact in Haiti who owns and runs the orphanage Riverside has supported. This ministry has been covered in prayer but as the body Christ we are given the opportunity to take in part of the work by prayer, fasting and giving physical means for a spiritual and eternal fruit.
To directly address direct questions or thoughts: Money is neither the answer nor the goal here. God is more powerful than money or our own agenda and He gives the Body of Christ to unite through His call to share the gospel. The people of Haiti are in need of hope still. They're hopelessness is answered by Christ and His truth. Will you hold the ropes for Kali and I as we are lowered into their present need with the beautiful news of Christ? Would you consider giving $10,$20 or $50, towards our trip in March?
