Berlin Opera Academy

Greetings! My name is Chantal Braziel, and I am a classical singer! I am a native of Pittsburgh, PA and I recently performed in the Grammy award winning 2019-2020 production of Porgy and Bess at the Metropolitan Opera.

I recently received the offer to attend the 2022 International Berlin Opera Academy summer program from July to August, along with two roles offered to me: 2nd Lady in Die Zauberflote by W.A. Mozart and the role study of Suor Angelica by Giacomo Puccini. I am in need of an amount of $10,000 to pay for tuition and airfare in order to attend Berlin’s summer program.

It has always been one of my dreams to go overseas and perform in Europe, particularly in Germany, so that I may better enhance my career in Opera. I believe that participating in this program would be a great opportunity to help develop my voice and career! I would be truly grateful and appreciative of your support.
