Amy's appeal, replace stolen bikes!

At Amy's House we provide a life line for families living with the daily challenges faced when caring for a child with additional, often life changing needs and life limiting conditions or illnesses.
From play based Saturday and school holiday sessions, therapeutic sensory room sessions, life skills learning support, to support in the home or hospital, providing information and advice or just being a familiar voice at the end of the phone to talk to when things get difficult, we support families with all aspects of daily life.
We are a small charity governed by a voluntary board of directors and have no paid fundraisers so every penny raised goes directly to the care and support of our families.
Our aim is to provide love and 'joy' in the children's lives.
We are raising money to replace 4 specialised disabled trikes, 3 mountain bikes and several scooters stolen from our base at a local school.
This specialised equipment was a huge part of the therapeutic activities we provide for our children with mobility or balance problems.
Most of all the children loved them and we are devastated that someone could do this.
The money raised will be used to purchase new bikes/trikes and photos will be published on our Facebook/twitter and web page should we reach our target and be able to buy them.
We need the funds as soon as possible as the weather is getting better and we would love to be able to let the children play outside on the trikes over the summer.
