Study Abroad Italy - High School Program

Michael is in a special program in Pinellas County called Early College Program. He is not only a high school junior but a college freshman. In May of 2015 not only will he graduate from Countryside High School in Clearwater, FL. but will also graduate from St Petersburg College with an A.A. He has the opportunity to study abroad in Italy this summer. Michael is a history buff.. specifically Ancient and Medieval History. What better place to see history come alive from his books then by having the opportunity to go to Italy with the high school study abroad program. Micheal is a high school honors student and has a 3.48 GPA in college. He was in a program in middle school where he was in 8th grade half the year and 9th grade the second half.
I am disabled and live on social security. There are no scholarships to help cover this as he is still a high school student. We reach out to friends, family and strangers to help Mike realize his dream of visiting Italy and reliving history. Michael wants to continue on to a 4 yr college and study either Medieval History or The Classics.. which is ancient history/language/archaeology.
We have received help from family to pay the application fee and passport fee. We just now need to pay for the course fee, room/board and school supplies.. along with any other incidentals he may need.
