Hi everyone.
My name is Diana Garza, and I'm from Spring, Texas. My family and I are currently without a home. Our house is very close to Spring Creek, and now water is up to the first story roof. The photo attached was taken this morning, but the water rose so quickly & has a fast current. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time...last year we flooded but only with 4ft in the house. We were able to repair, but my parents and I lost everything we cared about. Now, a year later it's happening again but worse. We grabbed what we could and evacuated, but now this major flood caused us to lose literally everything we had... I'm so scared to go back and see what's left of our home. I know that so many people in Texas are experiencing the same terrible situation caused by Hurricane Harvey, and that saddens me deeply. Anything will help us... funds will be used for rebuilding our life... clothing, construction, and shelter. God Bless!!
