We are a youth for youth initiative that is empowering the next generation, by providing them life education. We thrive to build strong morals, values and leadership skills.
Part of that goal is to provide the tools for the next generation, and help them with their own action plans, startups and offer life education. (Education not found in our current school systems); and another part is to deter youth from the path of crime and violence , which in recent years has gained prominence in the streets of Vancouver and the lower mainland.
Our programs are divided up into two main outlets, our Mini series and Mega series camps.
Our mini series are two day workshops were young people in grades 3-12 can learn about workshop themes such as: community engagement, how to find their inner leader, how to build their own kid business, and connect with mentors from our community.
Our Mega series is a four days, three nights camp that happens in the month of March. This is were we invite speakers, and activity co-ordinators from across the country and around the world to interact with participating youth.
Our team believes that change truly does start with ones self; and that when given the proper tools, youth will be able to build sustainable futures for themselves, and for their communities. Camp We Empower has positively impacted the lives of hundreds of youth every year through our camps, workshops and community action projects. Our goal is to empower the next generation to take action for a better world through : mentorship, education and community connections.
With this being the organizations 5th year running programs, WE need your help to make Camp We Empower programs 2019 happen. Can you help us empower the next generation? We know you can.
