<div>In the heart of Tanzania, the Haydom Friends organization stands as a beacon of hope for families of children born with birth defects such as spina bifida and hydrocephalus. Recognizing the immense challenges these families face, Haydom Friends has initiated a transformative project: the House of Hope. - This forthcoming rehabilitation and respite center aims to provide immediate medical care and lifelong follow-up treatment for affected children, ensuring they receive the comprehensive support they need.

<div>The architectural vision for the House of Hope has been crafted by the established architect Evy Eftestøl. Designed to accommodate up to ten families, the center will offer a serene environment where mothers and their children can find solace and connect with others facing similar challenges. Beyond serving as a temporary residence, the House of Hope aspires to be a sanctuary where families can exchange knowledge, share experiences, and draw strength from one another.
