Kidney Transplant Surgery

I am initiating a fund raising for my sister-in-law Michelle. She is 27 y/o; a responsible daughter and a loving auntie to her nephews and nieces. She has served the police force way back home since she graduated. She was diagnosed of Chronic Kidney Disease in 2015, started dialysis in 2016 and now a candidate for transplant with her stage V kidney disease. Fortunately, she has a kidney match with her sister. The cost will total an amount of 1.2M PHP (approx. $22,222). With the help of social services, it was reduced to half of the cost. She has a healthcare plan that can additionally help but she can only utilize it next year since she already exhausted her benefits. There can be changes with her health as well as the donor while waiting that’s why they wanna pursue the surgery this November as scheduled by the transplant team. Since she was diagnosed, it has costed her savings and family’s means with her medications, dialysis, laboratory, pre-screenings/diagnostics. We also consider post operation costs that may arise for her and her sister. Your help and prayers for her and her donor(sister) will mean so much to them and the family. May both of them be able to recuperate fast so they can continue to serve the country (as law enforcers).
