Its a persons worst nightmare to have to wake up from the smell of smoke. Then having to hurry and make sure everyone else is safely out of the home, along with their animals.
Early this am, Barbara Suberati woke up to the smell of smoke due to a fire inside of her home. Instantly she made sure everyone was safely out of her home, along with the 2 dogs which are family to her. The cats ran and hide, and she wasn't able to get them. Unfortunately 1 cat did not make it, and the other 2 were rescued after hiding for more then an hour inside the burning house.
She lost all of her belongings! Especially all important stuff from her deceased husband, that could never be replaced. Shes got only the clothes on her back.
If you know Barbara like I know Barbara, I know that she would do anything and everything to help anyone. She has been there for my family through thick and thin, and would give the shirt off her own back ... and it kills me to see someone like her that is so giving and loving to have to feel all this pain.
At this time, I ask for anyone who can help in the slightest bit.
I know its going to take time, but with a little help from everyone who cares, im sure we can help Barbara get back on her feet!
