Hi, as many of you know, Hudson was born with a heart defect called a VSD. They have been monitoring it since he was born, and he just had surgery. Well, ever since he was born, it has taken a financial impact on my life. From his birth, to all his testing and doctor's appointments, and now this open-heart surgery. I have not been able to catch up and catch a break, especially after taking a step down from my manager position at work so I can focus on my son. I also don’t get any help from the government, and I pay for his insurance, which comes out of my check every week. On top of rent, utilities, formula, groceries, I am drowning. I know times are tough for everyone, but I really could use this now more than ever, and I just want to be able to breathe again and get caught back up in my life for my son's sake. Now I have the burden of this surgery that I’m not even sure how much it’s going to cost.

The funds will go towards Hudson for I. Such as clothes and diapers, groceries for myself, getting my car up to date, and paying off some debt. Than maybe I can have a little extra money to tuck away for his Christmas gifts.

It has been a long journey and I’m glad it’s over.  I just want to be the best mom I can be and give my son the world cause he has given me everything and more. This will help me get back on track and hopefully give my son a really good first Christmas.
