Team Phillip


My nephew and his young family are in need of prayers and help. Phillip is a hard working young man always working hard and hustling as a independent contractor to provide for his sweet family.
Saturday afternoon he was working on a job site in Florida attempting to refuel an air compressor. The gasoline ignited and blew up on him. He threw the gas can away from him, but it splashed up on him and caught him on fire.
He received 2nd and 3rd degree burns on his entire back and right arm, abdomen and left leg. He is now at Shands Hospital ICU Burn Unit where he will remain for an undetermined amount of time.
His immediate family is incurring significant travel, lodging, and meal costs. Phillip is the primary income in his family and will not be able to work for some time.
Prayer needs are for his wounds to heal quickly without infection, that the skin grafts will be minimal, and for his total recovery to be speedy so he can return home to his precious children.
Unfortunately as an independent contractor, Phillip does not have any medical insurance. Any help to this family would be so appreciated. He also banks with Heritage South if anyone would like to donate that way, his full name is Phillip Higgs.
