Sandra's Heart
Hello, I am creating this page for my mother, Sandra, to help with medical bills, as she does not have any health insurance.
On December 16th, as she was going about her normal daily activities, her aortic valve tore. Two hours later she was undergoing major heart surgery where they replaced her aortic valve and performed a double bypass. After the successful surgery, she spent 9 days in a coma. During that time there were many scares, however at this time she is doing very well and still recovering at the hospital.
As a self employed business owner and sole operator, she has absolutely no money coming in at this time. She has been through so much already, with more obstacles to come! I am reaching out because my mother is an amazingly hard-working woman and at this time, in her second chance on life, she deserves to recover with as little stress as possible. As the medical bills pile up, as well as regular monthly bills, I am asking each and every one of you for your help! Every penny and every share counts! And our goal is to make sure that the helicopter transport bill gets paid first. The men and women of the crew of Life Flight of Maine are one of the reasons why my mother is still alive today! And I want to make sure that the bill gets paid so that they can use those funds to help save more lives!
