I Co 1-143rd Family Day

I am a company commander to a National Gaurd Airborne unit out of Austin, but I live here in Bryan. I own Three Brothers Stable. This week I had one of my soldiers commit suicide; it has hit my soldiers hard. In the guard, it is hard to have the families get together because we are so spread out. We also don't have time to use our drill weekend for this purpose due to the time is needed to train. It has taken this tragedy to make me realize I have to make the opportunity to get my soldiers and their families together. We all need the support.  I am planning to have my company and their families out to my stable to ride a little and eat on November 3rd; this will be about 150 people. I can't afford to feed them all, and I wouldn't like having them have to pitch in. I am asking some local business for their support as well as my friends. I would appreciate any amount that you could give. My soldier some for best young people you will ever meet.
