The Journey to Peru

Hello family and friends,
In the first semester of my sophomore year at the University of Nevada, Reno, I came across an opportunity through the Medical Electives program in which I would be able to volunteer abroad over this summer at a children's hospital in the country of Peru for 4 weeks. I have thought long and hard about the feasibility of this, but I knew that if I would continue to pray about it, that God would provide a path for me.
I come to all of you, humbly asking for your help. I have worked this past month of January to be able to cover the funds necessary for the airfare of the trip, and I am now seeking any amount of contributions that would be able to fund the total cost of the program, which including hospital placement, transportation to and from the hospital, accommodation with 2 meals a day, participation in healthcare campaigns, and a 4 week course in Spanish, would be $2640.
Your donations would not only bless me, but the children and people in the city of Arequipa, Peru. During my stay I would be working in the physical therapy unit at Tony Molleapaza Rojas Children's Hospital, learning and working to provide therapy for the children.
I thank each and every one of you, in advance for helping me in getting one step closer to fulfilling my dreams. If you are not able to donate, I still thank you for taking the time to read a few sentiments of my heart and I simply ask for your support and prayers.
