Emergency Relief - Hurricane Michael
Donation protected
Our names are Rick Whealen and Kelly Atkinson. Many of you receiving this know one or both of us. We own a home in the panhandle of Florida in a community called Watercolor. We were very fortunate with Hurricane Michael in that, in its last couple of hours as it approached the coast and, most likely, our little community, it turned east. Unfortunately, that meant it hit Panama City, Mexico Beach, Apalachicola and so many towns north of there. It was, and is, devastating! It obliterated homes and businesses and lives. We are raising funds from Virginia to buy emergency supplies, where supplies still exist, for things like generators, chain saws, extension cords, gas cans, lanterns, water, baby formula, diapers and so much more. We will be taking trucks down to the area on October 29, 2018, to be delivered to people directly. We will be personally delivering these items and will be personally accountable for the full amount of funds raised to be used strictly for this purpose. PLEASE DONATE IMMEDIATELY!!
