Scotty was diagnosed with Autism at a very young age. This made him special in many ways... He was a pure soul. His smile was infectious and he was always a little rambunctious. At 6'4 and over 200 lbs... That can be an adventurous thing!!!
If Scotty loved you, he would lean in VERY close to your face. At first I was not sure why he did that... But then I saw him press his forehead to his mothers forehead in a touching display of mother/son affection. It was then that I realized that he was saying with actions.. What he couldn't verbalize.
This really reminds us to "gather ye rosebuds while ye may". If you love someone... tell them. If you're angry at someone... forgive them. The brevity of life is unforgiving and you may not get another chance.
Please help my sister, and her family, with any donation that you can to defray the costs of dealing with these tragic circumstances.
